Version 2 · Effective 14 August 2026
Scale DNA Ltd, trading as Ten Chairs (company number 12851098, registered office Bank House The Lawns, 33 Thorpe Road, Peterborough PE3 6AB), is the controller of personal information collected through this site. Contact: enquiries@tenchairs.co.uk.
If you ask to be notified when episodes air, we collect your email address and use it to send you those notifications. If you nominate someone for a chair, we collect the details you give us - their name and company, and your email address - and use them solely to consider the nomination and, where relevant, to contact the person nominated. If you email us, we hold your correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry.
We rely on your consent for episode notifications, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us. We rely on legitimate interests for handling nominations and enquiries: convening each series is the core of what we do, and we handle the information involved in ways those involved would reasonably expect.
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how this site is visited: which pages are read and how people arrive at them. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device for that purpose, and Google processes the resulting data on our instructions. We do not use it to identify anyone. We rely on legitimate interests for this measurement. If you prefer not to be included, you can block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers on this site. The only cookies the site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above. When our forms go live they will be operated through an email service provider acting on our instructions; we will name that provider here when it is in place.
We keep notification emails until you unsubscribe, nomination details for the convening cycle of the relevant series, and correspondence for as long as it remains relevant. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent where consent is our basis. Write to enquiries@tenchairs.co.uk and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Any changes to this policy will be published on this page with a new version number and date.
