ABOUT

A production company for the professional record.

Ten Chairs makes filmed interview series about single industries, one season at a time, from London.

The ten chairs, on the Ten Chairs set
WHY TEN CHAIRS EXISTS

Every industry runs on conversation that never gets recorded. The people at the top of a profession know exactly what is changing, what is under threat, and what everyone is pretending not to notice. They say it to each other, at dinners and in boardrooms, and none of it survives the evening.

What does get published is mostly marketing: thought-leadership written to rank, panels staged to sell sponsorship, interviews that flatter and reveal nothing. The public record of most professions is thinner than the profession itself.

Ten Chairs makes the recorded version. One industry at a time, we seat the ten people who actually run it, put the same season of questions to every one of them, on camera, and keep the answers, permanently. It is not a news product and it is not content marketing. It is a record: who said what, in which year, and what happened next.

WHAT WE MAKE
THE SERIES

Filmed interview series, one per industry, running season by season. Each episode puts one question to all ten chairs and shows the answers side by side. Filmed in London, in directed individual sittings, and cut by our editors.

THE ANNUAL REPORT

Each season closes in writing: what changed, what the ten could not agree on, what the wider profession said in the annual survey, and predictions for the year ahead. Free to the industry.

WHERE TO WATCH

Episodes are delivered by email, as an industry briefing, to the professionals of each industry we cover. Every episode is kept, in full, on the Ten Chairs channel on YouTube.

EDITORIAL STANDARDS & FUNDING

Seats are held by invitation, one company to a specialism, and the roster is an editorial decision: the series only works if every chair is earned. The season's questions are set by us, put identically to every chair, and answered on the record.

HOW THE SERIES IS FUNDED

Ten Chairs is contributor-funded and editorially curated. Contributors fund the production that features them; they do not decide who else is in the room, and a seat cannot be bought where an invitation hasn't been extended.
